The website and blog Shopbbi.com is run by Hong Dang, a recent interior design grad with experience in social media and online marketing. Her goal is to provide readers with realistically chic advice on how to improve their homes. Hong Dang, a native of Vietnam who studied interior design at Montana State University, was born in Viet Nam. She put her education on hold to become a flight attendant so that she could see the world and meet people from all walks of life. In the subsequent four years, she studied interior design at Ryerson and graduated two years later.

“I suppose you could say that I am most attracted to designs that are unpretentious, minimalistic, and neutral with just a touch of the unexpected. Our houses are a reflection of who we are, and I find great satisfaction in encouraging people to express their individuality through thoughtful, original interior decoration. I’m always on the quest for novel experiences, whether they be travel, exploration, cuisine, or the unveiling of up-and-coming businesses. I want to help individuals make their homes more interesting by incorporating elements from both the past and the future. It’s a blessing to be able to do what brings me joy every day.
